Soma’s Sacred Living Soil, 50 litres – organically fertilised soil, ready for planting

Soma’s Sacred Living Soil is a ready-mixed living soil for organic growing. Suitable for vegetables, herbs and flowering plants indoors or outdoors, this 50-litre blend saves you having to develop and mix your own substrate recipe. It gives both beginners and experienced growers a straightforward way to start growing in biologically active soil.

Organic ingredients and active soil life

The blend includes worm compost, peat and minerals alongside guano, kelp, blood meal and bone meal. Kelp is a type of seaweed used here as an organic ingredient. Microorganisms help break down organic materials, contributing to the release of nutrients that plants can use.

When choosing your growing medium, bear in mind that this blend contains peat and animal-derived fertilisers. It is therefore neither peat-free nor vegan.

Plant directly and water without additional feed

Fill your pot or raised bed straight from the bag, plant and water in. A 38-litre GrowPRO Fabric Pot is one option for container growing. There is no need to mix the soil before use.

According to the manufacturer, the nutrient reserve is intended to support approximately 10–12 weeks of growth and flowering. During this period, the system is designed for watering without additional fertiliser. The actual feeding period depends on factors including plant demand and the available soil volume. Keep the growing medium evenly and lightly moist, avoiding both complete drying and waterlogging.

Refresh the soil for your next growing cycle

After a growing cycle, the soil can be replenished with compost and suitable nutrients for further planting. This allows you to retain the existing growing medium rather than replacing it completely. Base any additions on the condition of the soil and the needs of the next crop instead of automatically applying a full initial fertiliser dose again.
