Sapphire OG by Humboldt Seed Organization

Sapphire OG comes from OG Florida Cut and OG Afghan in the Humboldt Seed Organization range. It is feminized, strongly indica leaning and listed at 85 percent indica and 15 percent sativa. Despite that heavier balance, it is not a small plant to treat casually, but a strong OG line with a serious frame.

HSO describes the early growth as healthy and aggressive. With Sapphire OG, that is where the cultivation decision starts. Setting the plant early, giving it enough surface and keeping the side structure from disappearing under a closed canopy gives more control over the later flower build.

Indoor flowering is listed at 57 to 60 days. HSO gives 400 to 600 plus grams per square metre, 21 to 24 percent THC and 0.1 percent CBD. Outdoors, the frame expands clearly, with 3 to 4 metres in height, harvest from late September to early October and very high yield potential under suitable conditions.

Pine, gas, cinnamon, spice, chocolate and nutmeg define the aroma, but Sapphire OG is about more than aroma alone. Just as important is the build: OG weight, Afghan base, early growth and the need to put that strength into a stable structure in time.

When grown larger, Sapphire OG needs a frame that can carry the flower load. Repeated shaping through the life cycle can make sense, as long as enough recovery time remains before the move into bloom. In the end, this variety is less about a polished name than about structure with air, light and support.
