Northern Lights X by Genehtik Seeds

Northern Lights X by Genehtik Seeds takes the older Northern Lights background and presents it in a denser, more productive form. The variety stays strongly indica leaning, with a steady plant frame, compact flower behaviour and the familiar structure expected from a classic Northern Lights type.

Genehtik lists Northern Lights X as 90 percent indica and 10 percent sativa. The plants usually stay medium sized, grow evenly and fit well into organised indoor layouts. In SOG setups, the regular structure is useful because the variety does not need much lateral spread to build a full canopy.

The flowers carry most of the cultivar’s identity. Northern Lights X forms large, very dense buds with a strong resin surface and noticeable weight on a compact frame. Outdoors, that density should be planned for carefully, as late season plants benefit from clean airflow and dry conditions around the flowers.

The flowering time is 60 to 65 days. Genehtik gives indoor production at 550 to 600 g per m² and outdoor production at 1300 to 1800 g per plant. In the Northern Hemisphere, harvest is listed for October, placing the variety in a classic later indica window.

The aroma is simple in a good way: earthy, ochre toned and old school rather than sweet or dessert driven. Genehtik gives a THC range of 14 to 18 percent and a CBD range of 0.20 to 0.50 percent, and the variety’s character comes from the stable frame, heavy flower set and clear Northern Lights origin.
