Compact EC monitoring for nutrient solutions and irrigation water

The Milwaukee C66 EC Meter is a waterproof handheld tester for measuring the electrical conductivity of nutrient solutions, irrigation water and other aqueous solutions. Its 0.00 to 10.00 mS/cm measuring range makes it particularly useful for indoor growing, hydroponics and routine irrigation checks. It is straightforward enough for new growers while offering the fine resolution and replaceable probe appreciated in more established growing setups.

Monitor nutrient concentration through electrical conductivity

EC indicates the electrical conductivity of a solution and therefore reflects the concentration of dissolved ions. Regular measurements allow you to identify changes in nutrient strength and adjust your feeding solution accordingly. The C66 covers 0.00 to 10.00 mS/cm with a resolution of 0.01 mS/cm and an accuracy of ±2% of full scale. You can find additional instruments for nutrient monitoring in the EC meter range.

Automatic temperature compensation and replaceable probe

Because conductivity changes with temperature, the C66 automatically compensates for this effect between 0 and 50 °C. Its compact IP65 housing is designed for use in damp working environments. The MA73076 EC probe is replaceable, allowing the sensing element to be renewed without replacing the complete meter. Measuring 165 × 30 × 30 mm and weighing 80 g, the tester is convenient to use directly at a nutrient reservoir or mixing container.

Manual calibration for consistent measurements

The meter uses manual one-point calibration with a 1413 µS/cm, or 1.41 mS/cm, reference solution. The matching Milwaukee EC 1.41 buffer solution can be used for routine recalibration. After measuring, rinse the electrode with water and replace the protective cap. According to Milwaukee, the three 1.5 V batteries provide approximately 250 hours of continuous operation.
