Lime Verbena is a feminized photoperiod variety developed by Doja Seeds, a Californian seed bank from Sacramento, in collaboration with the renowned breeder Duke of Erb. With a sativa dominance of between 60 and 70%, it combines potency, aromatic expressiveness and a functional effect that place it among the most outstanding varieties of its generation.

A genetic lineage from California

Lime Verbena is the result of crossing Limeisickle and Duke’s Crumpets, two varieties that respectively contribute a highly pronounced citrus and fruity heritage, and the genetic complexity characteristic of Duke of Erb’s work. The dominant sativa component defines both the plant’s structure and its effect profile, while the indica part contributes to bud density and moderates height development.

Indoor cultivation: structure, yield and recommended techniques

Indoors, Lime Verbena completes its flowering in 60-65 days (about 8-9 weeks), with a medium-tall stature that can reach between 100 and 140 cm depending on management. Its structure with good natural branching responds very well to techniques such as topping or SCROG cultivation, which allow you to control height and maximize the productive surface of the canopy. Estimated indoor production ranges between 400 and 550 g/m², with compact, sticky buds of a striking neon green color, covered by a generous layer of white trichomes.

To preserve the terpene profile as much as possible, a controlled drying at a gentle temperature, below 18°C, is recommended. This care in post-harvest enhances the expression of the dominant terpenes: limonene, terpinolene and myrcene.

Aromas, flavors and effects

Lime Verbena’s aromatic profile is dominated by a citrus explosion of tart lime and lemon, with backgrounds of diesel/fuel, lemongrass and a slight spicy touch. On the palate, the citrus flavor takes center stage and evolves towards a sweeter finish, with sugary and even caramelized nuances in some phenotypes, and a residual gas note very well integrated.

The effect is fast-acting and markedly stimulating in character: energy, cerebral euphoria and motivation with mental focus are its hallmarks. A slight relaxing touch accompanies the whole without leading to sedation, which makes Lime Verbena a very suitable option for creative moments, social activities or work days. Given its high potency, it is not the most suitable choice for consumers without previous experience.
