Jekyll Passion by Samsara Seeds

Jekyll Passion does not fall into the squat, heavy set pattern of many indica driven lines. Samsara describes it as taller, broader and more inclined to spread out. Indoors that makes a long vegetative phase a poor fit. The variety looks more suited to being moved into flower after a short setup rather than being left to build for too long.

The Black Domina x Original Flo cross also avoids feeling like a neat middle ground. There is density and substance in it, but the plant does not read as dull or blocky. Samsara mentions large tight foxtail buds and compact purple calyxes, which gives the line a more distinctive shape than some of the simpler standard entries in the range.

At 60 to 70 days indoors and early October outdoors, Jekyll Passion is not ultra early, but it is also nowhere near a long haze schedule. The listed 500 to 900 grams per square metre point in the same direction. This was not built as a tiny quick turnover line, but as something that can actually make use of room and surface area.

On the flavour side, Samsara lists incense with minty overtones. That suits the line well because it does not slide into sweet fruit or blunt woody territory. It gives Jekyll Passion a more individual tone and keeps it from feeling like just another older catalog hybrid.
