Genetics and Origin of Jamaican Mountain

This variety is born from the cross between two elite clones: High School Sweet Heart x Lemon Meringue. High School Sweet Heart was selected from Gage Green Group seeds, while Lemon Meringue contributes its unmistakable citrus character. The result is a balanced hybrid with a very distinct mind-body profile, very high THClevels (around 25-27%) and a virtually negligible CBD content.

Indoor and Outdoor Growing

Indoors, Jamaican Mountain completes its flowering in about 9 weeks and reaches yields close to 600 g/m². It develops a slender and vigorous structure, with robust branches, allowing good light penetration, which favors compact and uniform buds. Its abundant trichome production makes it especially interesting for resin extraction such as rosin, water hash or dry hash.

Outdoors it shows its full potential, harvested between late September and early October, reaches heights of 2.4 to 2.6 meters and can offer between 1,450 and 1,600 grams per plant. It stands out for its good natural resistance to tropical and humid climates, as well as to mold, mildew and insects. Its growing difficulty is medium, making it a reliable option even for demanding growers.

Aromas, Flavors and Effects

The terpene profile of Jamaican Mountain is intense, dominated by citrus lemon notes accompanied by a skunky background and a kushy touch that adds depth and character to each hit.

Its effect is typical of a balanced hybrid, starting with a powerful, lucid and stimulating cerebral high that invites mental clarity, creativity and well-being, then evolving into a deep physical relaxation that releases muscle tension. It’s a highly valued variety for creative moments, social evenings and relaxed or introspective settings.
