Exotic Thai by Exotic Seed
Exotic Thai by Exotic Seed is not a Thai line that runs upward without control. The New York Diesel influence was added exactly where classic Thai genetics can become difficult indoors: height, flowering time and handling. What remains is a sativa leaning strain with a more manageable plant frame.
With a 9 to 10 week flowering time, Exotic Thai stays surprisingly workable for this genetic direction. Outdoors, Exotic Seed lists October as the harvest window. That does not make it a short indica, but it does make it a Thai cross that does not need to run endlessly.
The plant works more through side branches than through especially massive individual flowers. The buds are dense, but not oversized. Opening the plant early or guiding it through a loose SCROG layout can help use that side structure without taking away the natural sativa movement.
Exotic Seed lists 450 to 500 g per m². With Exotic Thai, that performance comes less from one heavy main top and more from many well lit flower sites. A setup that is too tight would work against the strain, because it needs space to make proper use of its branching.
The aromatic side is bright and unusual: citrus, followed by a clear perfume or cologne note between sweet and slightly chemical. That is what gives Exotic Thai its own place: a controlled Thai Diesel cross with lateral movement, dense flowers and a very distinct scent line.
