The Carson zOrb™ LED USB Digital Microscope MM-500 is a powerful digital microscope with a built-in camera that displays the magnified image directly on your computer screen. With an effective magnification of up to 81x (when used with a 32″ monitor), it reveals fine details of everyday objects that are invisible to the naked eye.

Effective Magnification via Optical System & Digital Zoom

The effective magnification of the zOrb™ is achieved through a combination of the optical system and a powerful digital zoom. To calculate the magnification, simply multiply your computer screen size in inches by 2.54.

Example: 32″ monitor × 2.54 = 81x effective magnification.

The integrated LED illumination ensures consistently bright, sharp, and well-lit images.

Photos, Videos & Versatile Applications

Thanks to the built-in 2.0-megapixel digital camera, you can capture close-up photos and videos at the touch of a button. The digital microscope is ideal for examining surfaces, materials, textures, and fine structures.
