Bluelab Combo Meter – portable pH, EC and temperature checks

The Bluelab Combo Meter brings pH, conductivity and temperature testing together in one handheld instrument. Use it to check irrigation water, nutrient reservoirs and run-off. It suits beginners and experienced growers who want measurements to guide their watering and feeding decisions.

Separate probes with 2 m cables

A replaceable pH probe and a combined conductivity/temperature probe connect to the meter, each with a 2 m cable for reaching awkwardly positioned containers. Select the reading you need at the touch of a button. A large display and low-battery indicator keep operation straightforward, while automatic switch-off follows four minutes without a button press. The meter housing is not waterproof and must not be submerged.

Choose the conductivity scale that suits your feed chart

Conductivity can be displayed in EC, CF or the converted ppm 500 and ppm 700 scales, making it easier to follow your chosen feeding schedule. Temperature readings are available in °C or °F. Automatic temperature compensation is applied to conductivity measurements.

Calibrate pH without recalibrating conductivity or temperature

Calibrate the pH probe before first use and regularly afterwards, no later than when the calibration indicator disappears after 30 days. Two-point calibration starts with pH 7.0, followed by pH 4.0 or pH 10.0. The Bluelab pH Cleaning and Calibration Set provides suitable maintenance supplies. Conductivity and temperature are factory-calibrated and require no user calibration, although the conductivity probe still needs regular cleaning.

Keep the pH probe hydrated between checks

Store the pH probe with enough Bluelab KCl storage solution in its cap to cover the sensing tip. Do not use distilled, deionised or reverse osmosis water for storage. When the pH probe wears out, its BNC connection allows you to replace it without replacing the whole meter.
