Athena Bloom A & B – balanced two-part nutrition for flowering plants

Athena Bloom A & B is a two-part liquid mineral base nutrient from the Athena Blended Line. Designed for flowering and fruit-producing plants, the combination supplies macronutrients and trace elements during the flowering stage. It suits both new and experienced growers who want to measure their feed accurately and adjust its strength to their plants’ requirements.

Macronutrients supported by chelated trace elements

Bloom A and Bloom B work together to provide a balanced nutrient base for flower development. Alongside macronutrients, the formula contains chelated trace elements. Chelation helps keep certain trace nutrients available for plant uptake. Rather than acting solely as a flowering booster, the two components provide the mineral base feed for this stage of development.

From hand watering to automated feeding

The fully water-soluble formulation contains no organic material. You can apply the nutrient solution by hand or use it with automated irrigation and dosing equipment. This gives you the flexibility to feed individual pots or build your nutrient programme around a central irrigation system.

Mix equal amounts of both components

Shake both containers before use. Add Bloom A and Bloom B to the water separately, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Always use equal volumes at a 1:1 ratio. Never combine the undiluted concentrates.

The general application range is 0.5–4 ml of Bloom A plus 0.5–4 ml of Bloom B per litre of water. Choose the actual dose using the appropriate Athena Blended feeding schedule and your plants’ requirements. To change the strength of the feed, increase or decrease both components together without altering the ratio between them.

Use pH and EC meters to check your nutrient solution. Monitor EC, or electrical conductivity, regularly. Adjust the pH only after all nutrients and additives have been thoroughly mixed into the water.

Additional phosphorus and potassium when required

For supplementary phosphorus and potassium, the base feed can be combined with Athena PK flowering additive according to the feeding schedule. This supplement does not replace either Bloom A or Bloom B; its use should be balanced with the rest of the nutrient programme.
