Vents Air Diffuser DWL2 – balanced airflow distribution for better grow room climate control
The Vents Air Diffuser DWL2, 100-315mm is an air distribution accessory designed for indoor grow rooms and grow tents. It spreads incoming airflow across a wider area rather than concentrating it in one spot. This helps improve air circulation and reduce localised differences in temperature and humidity. Available in several connection sizes, the diffuser can be incorporated into both compact growing environments and larger ventilation installations.
Reduce hot spots and stagnant air
Warm air can accumulate beneath grow lights, while densely packed plants may restrict airflow and create pockets of excess humidity. The Vents DWL2 helps distribute moving air more evenly, allowing these areas to benefit from improved circulation.
Better airflow distribution can help limit localised moisture build-up and support more consistent growing conditions. By spreading a concentrated airstream over a wider area, the diffuser can also reduce the direct draught experienced by individual plants.
Flexible use with circulating and fresh air
The DWL2 can be used to distribute recirculated air or connected to an intake duct to spread fresh air throughout the growing area. This makes it particularly useful where fresh air needs to reach a wider section of the grow room rather than entering as a concentrated stream.
For installation, the diffuser can be combined with suitable flexible ventilation ducting. Airflow must be supplied by the connected ventilation system.
Seven connection sizes for different grow setups
The Vents DWL2 is available in diameters of 100, 125, 150, 160, 200, 250 and 315 mm. This range allows you to select a diffuser that matches the diameter of your ventilation duct. Smaller versions are suited to compact systems, while larger connections accommodate appropriately sized ventilation installations.
Installation and ventilation integration
The diffuser fits onto the end of a compatible ventilation duct and can be secured using an appropriate universal hose clamp. Ensure that the duct diameter and fixing method are suitable for the selected diffuser size.
When added to an existing ventilation installation, the DWL2 provides a practical way to improve airflow distribution. Further equipment for managing air movement is available in the grow room ventilation and accessories range.
