Terra Aquatica DualPart Bloom for flexible nutrition through to flowering

Terra Aquatica DualPart Bloom is the Bloom component of the mineral DualPart two-part nutrient system and is used together with DualPart Grow throughout the plant cycle. The ratio between the two components is adjusted to suit each development stage: Grow and Bloom are initially used in balanced proportions, Grow becomes dominant during vegetative development, and the proportion of Bloom is increased during flowering and fruiting. The system is suitable for hydroponics, soil and a range of growing media, both indoors and outdoors.

Bloom component for the DualPart hard-water system

Within the DualPart range, adjustment for water hardness is made through the Grow component. Terra Aquatica recommends DualPart Grow Hard Water when the source water contains more than 70 mg of calcium per litre. DualPart Bloom is used alongside it as the common Bloom component. This allows you to choose the appropriate Grow formulation for hard water while increasing the Bloom proportion as plants move into pre-flowering and flowering.

Two components throughout the crop cycle

DualPart uses the same two bottles from early development through to flowering rather than changing between separate A and B sets. During rooting and early growth, Grow and Bloom are initially applied in similar proportions. Grow then takes the larger share during vegetative development, followed by a higher Bloom proportion during pre-flowering and flowering. Terra Aquatica’s standard feeding chart specifies 0.5 ml/L Bloom at first roots, 1 ml/L at the first true leaves and during vegetative growth, 2.5 ml/L during pre-flowering and 3 ml/L during flowering.

Preparing the nutrient solution

Shake DualPart Bloom thoroughly before use. Add Grow and Bloom to the water separately, mixing well after each component. The concentrated products should not be mixed together undiluted. Rinse measuring equipment between components as well. The appropriate concentration depends on the development stage, water quality and growing conditions.
