Special Kush #1 by Royal Queen Seeds

Special Kush #1 is not a polished, neatly stacked Kush line. It runs with a rougher frame, a firm main stem, noticeable stretch, and a real tendency to occupy open space once it gets going. Royal Queen Seeds lists it as Afghan x Kush with 80% indica. That already says a lot. This is not a pressed little plant with a tight modern silhouette. It comes from an older, broader Kush logic.

Indoors, it can still be kept under control as long as the run is not left open for too long. RQS gives 60 to 100 cm indoors, with a flowering time of 50 to 55 days, or roughly 7 to 8 weeks. Outside, the picture shifts hard. The plant puts on more bulk, spreads the frame wider, and according to Royal Queen Seeds can reach 200 to 270 cm, sometimes more in warm climates. This is not the sort of outdoor plant you tuck into a tiny corner and expect to stay compact.

The flower build stays in a more classic Kush lane. Not long spears, but smaller to medium tight nuggets spread across the plant. That is part of its real role. Not one oversized display cola, but more filling across the whole frame. If the plant has been guided cleanly, the side structure can carry weight well. Royal Queen Seeds lists 425 to 475 g per m² indoors and 500 to 550 g per plant outdoors.

The profile brings earthy notes, a sharper edge, hash, and some fruit. With up to 17% THC, the strain is not defined by inflated numbers. It makes more sense through type: old school Kush, a short to medium run, much more push outdoors than under lamps, and a sturdy plant body that feels built for straightforward work rather than delicate handling.
