Silk Truffle (semi femminizzati)

Descrizione

Silk Truffle Feminized is a true 50/50 indica/sativa hybrid developed with Champelli for the Sensi Seeds Breeding Grounds project. This well-balanced strain was bred from a cross of Pluto with Champelli’s Ropeium, which was then refined by crossing it with Sensi Seeds’ Cosmic Kiss. The result is a strain containing a complex and varied lineage, including genetics from legends like The Original Z, GSC, Gelato, and more.

These rather tall plants are capable of delivering XXL yields, but can be challenging to grow in smaller spaces. Fortunately, their versatile frame and robust branches make them a good fit for many advanced growing techniques, and experienced growers will appreciate the flexibility this strain offers. These plants perform best in a warmer, semi-humid Mediterranean environment.

Growth pattern of Silk Truffle Feminized

Silk Truffle Feminized cannabis seeds tend to grow into fairly tall plants with a long main stem and strong lateral branches that are capable of supporting the plants’ large, heavy buds. Growers can expect a plant with medium internodal spacing, allowing for somewhat airy, though still quite dense buds. The upper half of the plant is dominated by a single large cola, while the lower canopy is rather even and fairly bushy.

When grown indoors, Silk Truffle Feminized plants commonly reach maturity at a height of roughly 100-160 cm and are capable of generating XXL yields of as much as 460-650 grams per square metre over their 60 to 65-day flowering period. If grown under natural sunlight, these plants can grow to truly massive heights of up to 300 cm while producing 550-750 grams per plant. The buds harvested from Silk Truffle Feminized plants are mostly conical and quite chunky, with tight calyx stacking and a thick coat of resin that makes them ideal for creating extracts.

These deep green flowers can occasionally display hues of purple or cosmic violet alongside their light orange to amber pistils. Aside from the large main cola, these buds are on the smaller side and are rather leafy, making trimming a time-consuming and tedious task. These plants’ height means that they can be challenging to grow indoors; however, their long lateral branches and moderate internodal spacing make them a good fit for low-stress training or a screen of green (SCROG).

This strain is also a good choice for more advanced techniques such as mainlining, supercropping, or lollipopping. Though, because of their size and rapid growth, a sea of green isn’t a viable option.

Effects, taste, and smell of Silk Truffle Feminized

As Silk Truffle Feminized cannabis plants begin to flower, growers will notice a sweet smell highlighted by notes of cosmic candy, pungent, gassy diesel, and faint earthy undertones that all combine into a truly enticing aroma. While unlikely to become overwhelming, these plants’ sheer size can make covering the odour tricky for growers who are concerned with their privacy. Once the buds have been fully dried, they adopt a fruitier, sherbet-heavy scent with notes of tropical candy and a subtle hint of fuel hiding beneath it all.

These scents are all present in the flavour, which kicks off with a sweet and tangy inhale characterised by fruity candy notes before transitioning into a smooth and creamy mid-palate, before finishing up with a lingering earthy, gassy aftertaste. This combination of classic flavours means that there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.

The effects of Silk Truffle

Feminized are as well-balanced as everything else about this strain. Users can look forward to a high that starts out intensely cerebral and euphoric, with an uplifting and creative buzz. This uplifting energy gradually fades into a gentle full-bodied relaxation, making this balanced hybrid ideal for daytime or evening use.

These effects are long-lasting and leave users with a clear head and just enough relaxation to take the edge off, making this strain a perfect fit for more social or engaging situations. Did you know? Cosmic Kiss is a Sensi Seeds original that combines Rainbow Belts 2.0 and Bacio.

Ropeium was developed by Champelli as a blend of OZ Kush, Thin Mint Cookies, & Lemon Cherry Gelato. Pluto is a hybrid of Gelato #33 & Triangle Kush.
