Purple Sunset Auto by Growers Choice

Purple Sunset Auto does not feel like a rushed autoflower with a pretty name, but like a variety that actually uses its timeframe. It does not sit in the very shortest category, but moves through the cycle with a little more calm and builds a fuller finish from exactly that. In an auto, that often matters more than simply finishing as early as possible.

At around 11 weeks, the cycle remains easy to plan. At the same time, it stays in a size range of roughly 80 to 110 cm, which is not tiny but also does not push beyond control. That balance is what makes it useful, because it can build enough body without becoming restless or oversized in the setup.

Purple Punch and Sunset Sherbet do not move in the same direction here. Purple Punch brings in more roundness, density, and the darker side, while Sunset Sherbet keeps the whole line creamier and brighter. That keeps Purple Sunset Auto from turning into a flat sweet auto and gives it a steadier tension between fuller body and softer fruit.

With 550 to 650 g/m² indoors and around 100 to 200 g per plant outdoors, it is clearly positioned on the productive side without being reduced to raw mass. What matters more is that it organises enough material and side work within an autoflower frame to avoid feeling narrow. The medium size with somewhat heavier side branches fits that role well.

Purple Sunset Auto therefore fits best in runs looking for a fuller and creamier autoflower with useful output and a stable cycle. Its value lies in the way timing, structure, and the Purple Punch–Sunset axis come together in one auto.
