The Obsidian seeds from Wizard Trees represent an exceptional cross within the RS Collection, resulting from combining The Keeper with Black Magic. This feminized variety stands out for its striking visual appearance, with dark purple tones that contrast with orange pistils on completely frosted buds. Specifically developed to elevate the level of the RS collection, Obsidian offers ease of cultivation and consistent results both indoors and outdoors.

Genetics and origin of Obsidian

This variety is born from the cross between The Keeper (Zoap x RS11) and Black Magic, an exceptional donor male that provides greater resin production, more compact buds, and real potency in every hit. The combination results in a medium-tall plant with moderate-high stretch and a very uniform vertical growth pattern. The buds adopt the characteristic golf ball shape typical of RS genetics, dense and resinous, with dark colors ranging from deep purple to green, with darker shades predominating.

Growing Obsidian

In indoor cultivation, Obsidian completes its flowering in 8-9 weeks, offering yields of up to 550 grams per square meter. Its structure facilitates manicuring and presents no special growing requirements, being suitable for growers of any level. Outdoors, plants can reach considerable heights with harvest scheduled for October and productions around 500 grams per plant. The variety shows good adaptation to different environments without requiring particularly technical care.
