5 cm net cup for aeroponic systems – compact plant support for hydroponics and aeroponics
The 5 cm net cup for aeroponic systems is a compact growing container designed for hydroponic and aeroponic applications. Its open construction allows roots to come into direct contact with water, nutrient solution and air, making it suitable for propagation, rooting and use in compatible hydro systems.
Open structure for the root zone
Unlike a closed plant pot, the net cup has large openings around the sides and lower section. Roots can grow through these openings and receive water and nutrients directly from the growing system. With an outer diameter of 5 cm, an inner diameter of 4.5 cm and a height of 5 cm, the cup takes up little space and fits systems designed for this size.
Flexible choice of growing medium
Depending on your growing method, the net cup can be filled with clay pebbles or rockwool. A suitable mineral medium is Plagron Euro Pebbles hydro stones. For rockwool propagation, the compact Grodan Mini Block 4 × 4 cm is another option. If you prefer to work largely without a growing medium, cuttings can be supported with a compatible neoprene ring for net pots.
