Lemon Cake by Big Buddha Seeds moves away from the breeder’s traditional Cheese lines and instead follows a more modern direction built around dessert and citrus-driven genetics. The base combines a Gelato-related line (Sunset Sherbet) with a distinctly citrus-oriented counterpart.

In growth, the plants develop a branched structure with relatively dense foliage and compact flower formation. This results in a more closed canopy, where proper light penetration and airflow can become important depending on the setup.

Indoor flowering usually takes around 10 to 12 weeks, placing the variety on the slower side within the range. Outdoors, harvest falls later in the season, which makes the line more suitable for stable climates or protected environments.

The aroma is clearly driven by citrus notes, supported by sweet and slightly pastry-like elements from the Gelato side. Overall, the profile feels brighter and more layered than traditional Cheese- or Kush-based varieties.
