Hydroponic Research STAX, 1 kg is a highly concentrated, water-soluble powdered supplement intended for the vegetative phase and the transition into early flowering. Its formulation supplies calcium and magnesium alongside humic components. This makes STAX suitable for growers who want to add targeted support for root, shoot and structural development to an existing plant nutrition programme.
Calcium and magnesium for plant structure
STAX contains calcium and magnesium compounds and has an NPK ratio of 8-0-0. Calcium has an important role in the formation of plant cell structures, while magnesium is one of the essential plant nutrients. Hydroponic Research also describes STAX as a cation-exchange enhancer, formulated to support nutrient availability and nutrient movement around the root zone. It is designed as a supplement to a feeding programme rather than as a complete base fertiliser.
Suitable for soil, coco and hydroponics
The soluble powder can be used with soil, coco and hydroponic growing systems. Depending on the irrigation setup, STAX can be weighed directly into a reservoir or prepared as a concentrate for dosing and fertigation equipment. For vegetative growth and the transition phase
STAX is primarily intended for vegetative development and the transition into early flowering. As its NPK 8-0-0 formulation also adds nitrogen to the nutrient solution, the overall feed strength and base fertiliser should be taken into account. For the later flowering stages, Hydroponic Research offers SHINE Clean as a separate bloom supplement. STAX should be stored in a cool, dry place both before and after opening.
