Frisian Duck

Descrizione

Frisian Duck by Dutch Passion

Frisian Duck does not become interesting first through yield, potency or flower density, but through leaf shape. That is where the variety begins. The unusual form of the leaves changes the whole visual impression of the plant and gives it a very distinct place within the Dutch Passion range.

That feature does not stop at visual novelty. Frisian Duck is clearly a line meant for outdoor growing and greenhouse work, where weather, visibility and structural steadiness matter more than sterile indoor perfection. In those settings, its morphology makes much more sense than it ever could in a purely technical description.

In growth, the variety builds more height and more space than many tighter standard plants. Outdoors it can rise strongly without feeling coarse or erratic. The frame stays supportive, the plant remains weather ready enough for shifting conditions, and a large part of its reputation comes from exactly that combination.

Aromatically, Frisian Duck avoids darker and heavier directions. Fruit, pine and a citrus leaning note give it a brighter profile that fits the more open plant character well. Some plants can also show purple flowers, which adds further recognisability without becoming the only thing worth mentioning.

Frisian Duck therefore comes across as an unusual Dutch Passion outdoor line in which duckfoot structure, outdoor suitability and a brighter profile shape the real identity.
