DutchPro Silicia von Liebig Special – Silicon Supplement for Stronger Stems and More Resilient Plants

DutchPro Silicia von Liebig Special is a concentrated liquid silicon supplement designed to support plant strength, structural development and resistance to environmental stress. By encouraging stronger cell walls, sturdier stems and healthy root development, it helps plants maintain their structure throughout the growing cycle. Suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation, this supplement can be used with soil, coco coir and hydroponic systems. It is a practical addition to established feeding programmes for growers looking to support healthy, resilient plant growth.

Stronger Plant Structure and Greater Stress Resistance

Silicon contributes to the strength of plant cell structures, helping stems and leaves become more robust. This additional structural support is particularly useful during flowering, when branches may need to carry increasingly heavy flowers or fruit.

A consistent silicon supply can also help plants cope with challenging conditions, including heat, drought and other environmental stresses. DutchPro Silicia von Liebig Special supports natural resistance to pests and disease-causing organisms. According to the manufacturer, its concentrated formulation contains 3.8% monosilicic acid and uses nanotechnology.

Supporting Root Development and Nutrient Uptake

Beyond strengthening stems and foliage, silicon supports root development and helps plants absorb and utilise nutrients more effectively. This contributes to healthy growth and allows plants to make better use of their existing nutrient supply.

Silicia von Liebig Special is intended to complement, rather than replace, a complete feeding programme. It can be used alongside suitable DutchPro base nutrients for your growing medium. Where additional calcium and magnesium are required, DutchPro Calmag can be incorporated into the feeding routine.

Dosage and Nutrient Solution Preparation

The recommended dosage is 0.4 ml of DutchPro Silicia von Liebig Special per litre of water. Application starts during the vegetative stage and can continue into flowering according to the DutchPro feeding schedule.

When preparing your nutrient solution, add the silicon supplement to the water first and mix thoroughly before introducing other nutrients. Once all fertilisers have been added, check the final pH level. Suitable pH meters allow you to verify that the solution is within the appropriate range for your crop and growing medium.

Thanks to its low application rate, the concentrated formula goes a long way. DutchPro Silicia von Liebig Special is available in 250 ml and 1 L bottles to suit different growing requirements.
