Brain Cake by Ripper Seeds

Brain Cake comes from a Do Si Dos S1 background at Ripper Seeds, with Face Off OG and OGKB in the line. The variety is listed as sativa dominant and does not push a squat Kush body, but more length, wider node spacing and a more open growth frame.

The long internode build shapes the crop more than the name alone suggests. Brain Cake needs some room so the shoots can stand cleanly and the flowers do not crowd each other too early. If the plant is kept too tight, part of its natural frame gets lost.

Indoors, the ripening window runs at around 60 to 70 days. Production is listed as high, especially when the plant is allowed to gain enough size and the side branches are not hidden under too much leaf mass.

Cooler temperatures near the end of flower can bring darker and purple tones into the plant. This colour shift shows mostly on the outer flowers and fits the compact buds, short pistils and larger calyxes often associated with this line.

The profile stays dry, dense and more herbal than overly sweet. With Brain Cake, the key point is the contrast between its longer plant frame and firm flower body, which makes it work differently from the more compact OG or Zombie lines by Ripper Seeds.
