AutoPot Tray2Grow Micro Herb Tray – Convenient Bottom Watering for Microgreens
The AutoPot Tray2Grow Micro Herb Tray is designed for cultivating microgreens and young herbs using the Tray2Grow watering system. Its perforated base allows moisture from the capillary matting beneath to reach the growing medium, providing a consistent supply of water and, where required, nutrients from below. Suitable for beginners and experienced growers alike, this tray offers a straightforward way to cultivate fresh micro herbs with less manual watering.
Perforated Base for Capillary Watering
Multiple openings across the base allow moisture to move upwards through capillary action. The tray sits on the prepared capillary matting and root control sheet within the Tray2Grow system. Water passes through the perforations into the growing medium, where it becomes available to the developing roots. This method helps reduce the need for frequent manual watering.
Designed to Fit the AutoPot Tray2Grow
Each AutoPot Tray2Grow watering system can accommodate up to two standard Micro Herb Trays at the same time. This allows you to cultivate different microgreen varieties alongside one another or organise successive growing cycles. The tray serves as a growing container while the Tray2Grow system handles the automatic water supply.
A Useful Addition to Your Microgreens Setup
Whether you are growing radish microgreens, pea shoots or young herbs, the shallow plastic tray provides a practical growing area for a range of crops. It can be used to expand your setup or replace an existing tray. Explore the range of AutoPot accessories for additional components to maintain or extend your watering system.
