Atami B’cuzz Cocos – moisture retention with room for roots to breathe
Atami B’cuzz Cocos is a lightly fertilised coco growing medium supplied in a 50-litre bag for growing plants in pots and containers. It suits growers trying coco for the first time as well as those with an established watering and feeding routine. Its fibres retain nutrient solution while maintaining an open structure that allows air to reach the roots.
Keeping water available without sacrificing aeration
As you water, the coco takes up moisture and dissolved nutrients, keeping both available around the roots. The substrate also stays airy, helping the root system receive the oxygen it needs. Together, these properties support strong root development. Water retention does not remove the need for a suitable irrigation routine, however: check the moisture in the medium regularly and adjust watering to your plants’ requirements.
Prepared coco fibres carrying the RHP quality mark
The fibres have already been matured, washed and buffered. This gives you a ready-to-use medium without having to wash or buffer the coco yourself. The RHP quality mark identifies a substrate with verified quality standards. This preparation makes starting with coco more straightforward and saves experienced growers additional processing steps.
Moving from starter nutrients to a coco feeding programme
The light fertilisation provides nutrients for the first week of the growth cycle rather than the entire crop. After this initial period, supply further nutrients through the irrigation water. A suitable option is Atami B’cuzz Coco A and B, a base nutrient developed specifically for coco substrates. Match subsequent feeding to your plants and the nutrient schedule you are using.
