AC Infinity UIS Lighting Adapter Type-D
This Type-D adapter dongle is designed to connect AC Infinity UIS controllers to grow lights from other manufacturers – provided the light’s driver includes dimming control wires (Dim +/-). By linking your lighting to a UIS controller, you can automate light cycles, schedules, and dynamic responses to temperature, humidity, and VPD (depending on the controller used).
As part of the UIS platform, controllers and grow devices work together to create an ideal plant environment. With WiFi-enabled smart controllers, you can also monitor and control lighting from your smartphone, with charts and notifications available through the AC Infinity app. Compatible with UIS controllers such as CONTROLLER 69, CONTROLLER 69 PRO, and newer.
Light compatibility
In general, LED grow lights using drivers with Dim +/- leads can work with the Type-D lighting adapter. Because dimming protocols vary by driver brand/model, some lights may have a limited dimming range when used with controllers. If your light isn’t compatible, alternative lighting adapters or the UIS Control Plug may help. A firmware update via the AC Infinity app may be required for your UIS controller to work with this dongle.
