Gorilla

Description

Gorilla by Spliff Seeds

Gorilla by Spliff Seeds is the breeder’s feminized version of a GG4 related line. It is built from Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel, with Spliff Seeds describing the work as a reversal of original GG4 clones from the USA into their own Spliff Gorilla expression.

The plant is not shaped like a small compact indica. Spliff Seeds lists indoor height at 1.20 to 1.50 m and outdoor height at 1.50 to 2.00 m. Its frame is larger, hybrid based and carried by side branches that can gain serious weight during flowering.

The strongest visible trait is the surface of the flowers. Gorilla forms massive buds with heavy resin coverage and a high calyx to leaf ratio. That gives the plant a dense, sticky and weight focused structure rather than a loose or stretched appearance.

The flowering time is listed at 8 to 9 weeks, with October given for outdoor harvest. Yield data sits at 350 to 450 g/m² indoors and 50 to 150 g per plant outdoors. The variety earns its place less through height and more through branch load, flower density and resin expression.

The profile carries earth, diesel, chemical depth, fuel and a glue like direction. In cultivation terms, the more important detail is the weight of the side branches once bloom is underway, where support can become useful. That makes Gorilla a resin heavy Spliff Seeds hybrid with a strong frame, heavy flower set and a clearly recognisable Gorilla line character.
