Blue Applez by Dutch Passion is one of the most anticipated releases of 2026, a feminized seed joining the exclusive « USA Special » family from the Dutch seed bank. A hybrid with clear indica dominance, it combines power described as extremely strong, with THC levels of up to 25-30%, and an unmistakable sweet apple profile.

Blue Applez Genetics

This variety is born from the cross between Apples & Bananas and Purple OG Punch, a combination explicitly confirmed by Dutch Passion. From Apples & Bananas it inherits that particularly fruity character, while Purple OG Punch contributes body, abundant resin and those purple and bluish tones that emerge during flowering. The result is an indica-dominant hybrid with dense, heavy buds loaded with trichomes, with two described phenotypes: one with large, compact flowers, and another with somewhat smaller buds but extremely resinous.

Growing Blue Applez

Indoors, Blue Applez completes its flowering in around 9 weeks, with typical harvests between days 60 and 70 depending on the phenotype. It develops a « Christmas tree » structure, with short internodes and medium stretch, making it especially suitable for SOG grows. Its production is notable, with yields of up to 500 g/m² under optimal conditions, earning it an « XL » yield label.

This is a vigorous, robust and tolerant plant that forgives small fertilization errors and minor stress, making it suitable for beginners. It also responds very well to training techniques and trellising. Outdoors it performs excellently in warm, sunny climates. Keep in mind that its buds can reach considerable weight, so some plants appreciate support at the end of flowering.

Aromas, flavors and effects

Blue Applez’s aromatic profile is dominated by an intense apple, like Pink Lady or fresh green apple, accompanied by creamy, sweet notes, light citrus touches and a subtle hint of mint. On the palate it displays sweet and slightly tart apple flavors, with fruity nuances, creamy caramel-like notes, floral touches and a soft cheese background that finishes with a creamy ending.

Its effects deliver a powerful and balanced hybrid experience. The onset is stimulating, euphoric and lucid, evolving into a deep body relaxation of indica character that helps release muscle tension. At high doses it can cause a marked but pleasant couch-lock, making it an ideal option for relaxing consumption at the end of the day.
