Black Water

Description

Blackwater by Cali Connection

Blackwater by Cali Connection is best known as a dark finishing Purple OG line. Late in flowering, the plants can develop very deep purple tones, which makes the cultivar visually distinct from lighter or fully green staying hybrid lines.

Flowering is generally listed at around 8 to 9 weeks. This places Blackwater in a manageable window and keeps it away from the longer running lines in the range.

Genetically, Blackwater is based on a combination of Mendo Purps and SFV OG Kush. Cali Connection presents the variety as an early generation expression of that pairing, with the goal of shaping an especially dark Purple OG Kush line.

In structure, the plant usually develops a stable medium sized frame with enough strength for denser flower formation. As flowering progresses, the compact finish benefits from clean environmental control. That gives the line a good fit for grows where color, density, and a controlled overall cycle matter together.

The profile is often described through earthy, citrus, floral, and pine leaning notes. Depending on selection, the emphasis can shift somewhat, but the cultivar remains easy to place overall as one of the darker Purple OG oriented lines from Cali Connection.
