Soul Star by Dr Underground
Soul Star by Dr Underground first stands out through its squat and solid plant shape. Sensi Star 2004 and Peyote Purple form an indica leaning line with broad leaves, short internodes and a flower image built strongly around density and resin.
During flowering, the branches fill with firm and compact flowers. Soul Star is highly productive, and support can be useful when flower mass increases. This fits a strain that works more through substance and weight than through length or open structure.
Flowering usually takes 8 to 9 weeks, or around 60 days. Outdoors, the harvest window falls around late September or shortly after the summer period. This keeps Soul Star in a manageable photoperiod frame.
Aromatically, Soul Star shows an intense profile with metallic lemon. The Sensi Star side brings the classic compact indica structure, while Peyote Purple adds darker depth and a more unusual aromatic edge.
The core of this strain sits in the combination of short to medium flowering time, squat growth, strong resin coverage and a metallic citrus scent profile. Soul Star remains one of the denser Dr Underground lines and also explains why it appears again as a parent in Black Jesus OG.
