DutchPro pH-Bloom – precise pH reduction during the flowering stage
DutchPro pH-Bloom is a concentrated pH reducer designed to lower the acidity balance of nutrient solutions and irrigation water when the pH is too high. Based on phosphoric acid and specifically developed for the flowering stage, it helps growers maintain greater control over nutrient availability. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, it can be used with soil, coco substrates and hydroponic growing systems.
Maintaining the right pH for nutrient uptake
The pH of your nutrient solution plays an important role in how effectively plants absorb available nutrients. When irrigation water is too alkaline, certain essential nutrients may become less accessible, even when sufficient fertiliser has been added.
A general target range is pH 5.8–6.5, with coco and hydroponic systems often benefiting from values towards the lower end. DutchPro pH-Bloom allows you to bring an excessively high pH back towards the desired range.
Simple application with controlled dosing
Start by preparing your nutrient solution and adding all the required fertilisers and supplements. Measure the pH before making any adjustments. If the reading is too high, add a small amount of DutchPro pH-Bloom, mix thoroughly and measure again.
As this is a highly concentrated product, gradual adjustment is recommended to avoid lowering the pH too far. Suitable pH and EC measuring equipment makes it easier to monitor your nutrient solution accurately.
Suitable for different growing systems and solution volumes
DutchPro pH-Bloom is available in 1-litre and 5-litre containers, allowing you to choose a size appropriate for your nutrient solution requirements. You can also explore additional pH adjustment products for managing your growing conditions.
If the pH of your nutrient solution is too low rather than too high, DutchPro pH+ can be used to raise it instead.
