CBD OG by Cali Connection

CBD OG by Cali Connection is not a standard OG line, but a cultivar with a clearly CBD focused direction built on a West Coast base. That is exactly what makes it interesting. It stays recognizably tied to the OG family, but it does not move in the same lane as the breeder’s classic Kush and Sour entries.

For the regular version, Cali Connection combines Lion’s Tabernacle with an SFV OG IBL male. In the feminized version, the breeder works with Tahoe OG S1. The line is distinctly CBD led, with an approximate 2:1 CBD to THC ratio. That gives CBD OG its own role in the range without disconnecting it from its OG roots.

In plant form, the variety also comes across as more than a niche project. It is usually described as a line with solid structure, good bud formation, and dependable overall production. The point here is not spectacle, but a plant that pairs its CBD direction with enough real substance to feel complete.

In profile, CBD OG stays more grounded and restrained. It does not read as loud or playful, and that suits the cultivar well. The overall impression is less trend hybrid and more clearly shaped cross with a defined purpose.

The line is also easy to place through its awards history. Cali Connection lists a 1st place finish for Best CBD Flower at the 2015 High Times Cannabis Cup in San Francisco. Its background and cannabinoid focus give it a clear identity.
