Black Toffee Auto

Black Toffee Auto by Green House Seed Co.

Black Toffee Auto is carried less by general auto convenience and more by line identity. Inside the newer Green House USA Genetics section, it is a short, tightly framed offshoot of Larry Bubba x Gelato #41 Auto. That already explains its role in the catalogue. It is not built around height or excess movement, but around a denser, more contained run with a very specific aromatic direction.

Green House lists it in the short height class, which fits the overall picture. This is not the kind of auto that depends on stretch to create presence. It makes more sense through a compact plant body, a steadier canopy and a flower set that builds within a controlled frame. In other words, the plant speaks more through fill and finish than through width or reach.

The growing window remains clearly defined. Green House lists eight weeks of flowering and rates the indoor yield as medium to high, with its technical product data specifying up to 600 g/m². Outdoors, Black Toffee Auto averages around 140 cm and can produce up to 160 g per plant, keeping the frame manageable without reducing it to an especially small autoflower.

The aromatic side is where the variety separates itself most clearly. Green House highlights a strong coffee aroma supported by deep red fruit notes that bring some sweetness into the cross. That keeps Black Toffee Auto away from a generic candy profile and gives it a darker, more grounded identity, which fits the Larry Bubba side much better than a softer dessert profile would.

The variety is best understood in that exact frame: not as a broad Gelato style automatic, but as a compact USA Genetics auto with its own tone, short timing and a flavour direction that stands apart inside the Green House range. The point here is not spectacle. It is the combination of a short frame, a controlled finish and a more distinctive aromatic base.
