Afghani Special Feminized is a predominantly indica variety from K.C. Brains Seeds Holland with a distinct old school character. It stands out for its intense and sweet aroma, a THC content of 15-20%, and a body and relaxing effect. It’s ideal for growers seeking a classic, robust, and easy-to-manage Afghan genetic.

Genetics: pure Afghan heritage

This feminized seed comes from a cross between an old Afghani and a more recent Double Afghani. Both lines contribute the hardiness of mountain-adapted plants: compact and bushy structure, broad and rounded leaves of a very dark green, and a short flowering period, typical of indicas. It’s a stable hybrid with homogeneous and predictable development.

In cultivation: robust, simple, and good production

Indoors it reaches between 105 and 135 cm and completes flowering in 6-9 weeks, with an average production of around 400 g/m². It also performs very well in hydroponic systems. Outdoors it becomes a large plant, 250 to 300 cm and even more with good cultivation, flowering in 7-10 weeks and can yield up to 700 g per plant, with harvest between late September and late October depending on the area. It’s resistant to diseases and fungi, and its low margin of error makes it a very suitable option for beginners.

Flavor and effect: sweet, smooth, and hash undertones

Its buds, very sticky although with few crystals visible to the naked eye, give off a sweet and intense aroma. When smoked it offers a smooth and rich flavor, sweet, with an earthy nuance very similar to hash. The effect is mainly physical, relaxing and calming, more suitable for afternoon or evening, and should be dosed in moderation given its 15-20% THC.
