White Widow by Dutch Passion
White Widow is one of the long-established classics in the Dutch Passion collection. The original F1 line combines Brazilian and Indian genetics and has been selected over many years for consistent growth, exceptional resin production and compact flowers.
The plants normally remain medium-sized and grow vigorously during both the vegetative and flowering stages. Stretch continues for approximately two and a half to three weeks after bloom begins. Strong branches and medium internodal spacing create a manageable hybrid structure.
Its defining feature is the formation of hard, compact flowers beneath an exceptionally thick trichome layer. Resin production begins early and can extend onto the larger leaves. A favourable flower-to-leaf ratio gives the plants a dense and clearly finished appearance.
Flowering normally takes around 7-9 weeks. Dutch Passion lists average indoor yields of approximately 400-500 g/m². White Widow performs naturally as well as in SOG and SCROG systems. Outdoors, the line prefers drier conditions because high humidity late in bloom can increase the risk of mould.
The aromatic profile remains distinctly traditional. Spicy pine leads the composition, followed by sour citrus and fruity notes. Some phenotypes develop additional gaseous, diesel-like or lightly metallic accents.
