Mataro Blue

Descripción

Mataro Blue by Kannabia Seeds

Mataro Blue by Kannabia Seeds is a feminized photoperiod hybrid line with a clearly indica leaning structure and a strong resin focused direction. This variety is aimed at growers looking for a compact to medium sized genetic with dense flower formation, solid production capacity, and a distinctive base profile. Within the Kannabia range, Mataro Blue stands for a robust line with classic structure and a clearly recognisable strain identity.

In cultivation, Mataro Blue develops a compact to medium sized plant structure with stable build, strong side branches, and a dense main cola. Indoors, it remains manageable and can also work well in more limited spaces when guided properly. Outdoors, it can spread much more strongly and grow into large, bushy plants. Overall, the line is built around a durable structure and high flower mass.

Flowering time indoors is around 58 to 65 days. Indoor yields are listed at up to 600 grams per square metre. Outdoors, up to about 800 grams per plant are possible. Plants usually reach around 70 to 90 centimetres indoors and up to about 200 centimetres outdoors. THC is listed at around 23 percent. This places Mataro Blue as a strong performing photoperiod hybrid line with a clear resin driven direction.

Its profile shows a deep and distinctive aromatic direction with bitter orange, sweetness, and a lightly earthy base. The breeding logic remains easy to read, as the genetic foundation is built around density, resin production, and a robust plant structure without slipping into a generic standard pattern. This gives Mataro Blue a clearly defined identity rather than the feel of a generic standard variety.

As with feminized photoperiod hybrid lines in general, the final expression can vary depending on the phenotype. Differences in plant height, flower structure, resin output, colour expression, and aromatic distribution within the line should therefore be expected.
