Hesi Phosphor Plus – targeted PK nutrition from mid-flowering
Hesi Phosphor Plus is a liquid flowering supplement for plants grown in soil. It adds phosphorus and potassium to your feeding programme during the more advanced stages of flowering. Suitable for indoor and outdoor growers, it complements your flowering nutrients rather than replacing the base feed.
Ingredients: supplementary phosphorus and potassium
The formulation is labelled PK 7-5. Phosphorus plays a role in flower development, while potassium supports processes including the movement of water and nutrients through the plant. Phosphor Plus is not a complete NPK base fertiliser. Use it alongside Hesi Bloom Complex flowering feed for soil, which provides the underlying supply of macro- and micronutrients.
When to start and how often to apply
Begin using Hesi Phosphor Plus from the middle of the flowering phase. In the Hesi soil feeding chart, which illustrates an eight-week flowering period, the supplement is used during flowering weeks 4–7. For plants with a different flowering duration, follow their stage of development. Extra PK feeding is not intended from the start of flowering, as Bloom Complex initially supplies sufficient phosphorus and potassium.
The Hesi soil programme recommends feeding once or twice a week, rather than automatically adding nutrients at every watering. Take water demand, plant species, plant size and pot volume into account. Higher PK concentrations are not necessarily beneficial: an excess can interfere with the uptake of other nutrients.
Dosage and mixing with water
The Hesi Phosphor Plus dosage is 25 ml per 10 L of water, equivalent to 2.5 ml per litre. For 5 L of water, measure out 12.5 ml. Add the measured amount to your watering solution and use it together with the base fertiliser. Measuring jugs and dosing pipettes help you measure the correct quantity for each batch.
Choose a pack size to match your consumption
Choose from 500 ml, 1 L, 5 L, 10 L and 20 L. At a dosage of 2.5 ml/L, a 1 L pack provides enough supplement for a calculated 400 L of water, while a 5 L pack treats 2,000 L. These figures do not include the additional base fertiliser required.
