GrowMax 10″ × 2.5″ Deionisation Filter Maxquarium for ultra-pure reverse osmosis water

The GrowMax 10″ × 2.5″ Deionisation Filter Maxquarium is a replacement cartridge designed for the final purification stage after reverse osmosis. It removes residual dissolved mineral salts from previously filtered water, helping achieve purity levels as low as 000 PPM. This makes it particularly useful for indoor growers, hydroponic systems and other applications where exceptionally low mineral content is required.

Final-stage purification after reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis removes a large proportion of dissolved salts from the incoming water. The deionisation filter provides an additional polishing stage, targeting the mineral ions that remain after the RO process. According to the manufacturer, it can remove up to 100% of mineral salts from reverse osmosis water. This provides a highly purified starting point when preparing nutrient solutions and allows greater control over the minerals added afterwards.

Compatible with Maxquarium 000 PPM and KITDI10

The GMWDI10 cartridge measures 10″ × 2.5″ and is designed for the GrowMax Maxquarium 000 PPM reverse osmosis system and the KITDI10 deionisation kit.

When maintaining your water purification system, remember that the different filtration stages require separate replacement components. The GrowMax Filter Pack 10″ provides the sediment and carbon pre-filters used upstream of the reverse osmosis and deionisation stages.

Replace according to water quality

The cartridge’s service life depends on the quality of the incoming reverse osmosis water and the level of purity required. Rather than relying on a fixed replacement schedule, regularly monitor the electrical conductivity (EC) or TDS reading of the filtered water. Replace the cartridge when readings begin to rise or the required purity can no longer be maintained.
