About the EZ Test LSD kit

This compact, easy-to-use test kit is designed to detect the presence of LSD and other indole compounds such as DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, psilocybin and psilocin. Each kit contains a glass ampoule holding a chemical reagent bound in silica gel. When a small sample (for example a piece of blotter or a crystal) is added, a visible colour change appears.

A purple tint usually indicates the presence of indoles such as LSD. The test needs no special equipment and is a practical harm-reduction tool that helps people make better-informed, safer choices.

How to use

1. Prepare a small sample (for example a fragment of blotter or a crystal).
2. Carefully break open the glass ampoule (do not use force).
3. Add the sample to the ampoule, close it with the plastic cap and shake gently.
4. Wait up to three minutes and compare the colour change with the colour chart supplied: purple indicates indoles such as LSD; no colour indicates they are absent.

With blotters the colour reaction can be more subtle because of the lower concentration. Dispose of the ampoule and sample safely after use, and store unused tests in a cool, dry place.

A specialised reagent (modified Ehrlich formula with p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in acidic solution) bound in inert silica gel inside a single-use glass ampoule, a plastic cap and a colour chart, everything needed for a reliable preliminary indication without extra equipment.
