About the EZ Test GHB kit

This specialised test kit is designed to establish whether GHB is present in a sample. Unlike laboratory equipment, this portable test offers a quick and accessible way to check a substance. An important reason to test is the risk of confusion between GHB and GBL.

Each kit contains test ampoules with a chemical reagent. When a small sample is added, a colour change appears, which you compare with the guide supplied. The test is simple, needs no specialist knowledge and is a practical harm-reduction tool that helps people make better-informed, safer choices.

How to use

1. Read the instructions supplied carefully first.
2. Put a small amount of the sample into the test ampoule.
3. Add the reagent as directed and shake gently.
4. If GHB is present, a colour change appears within a few minutes; compare it with the guide supplied. No reaction indicates that GHB is absent, but note that the test does not detect GBL.

Dispose of the ampoule and sample safely after use, and store unused tests in a cool, dry place.
