About the EZ Test Cocaine Purity kit

This specialised test kit is designed to estimate the concentration of cocaine in a sample, from low to high purity. Each kit contains one glass ampoule holding a chemical reagent (based on the Scott / cobalt thiocyanate formula) bound in silica gel. When a small sample is added, the reagent changes colour, and you compare the result with the colour chart supplied.

The test ignores many common cutting agents, giving a clearer indication of purity. It is compact and needs no special equipment, making it a practical harm-reduction tool for testing at home. Please note: this is an indicative test, not a full analysis of cutting agents.

How to use

1. Prepare a small sample (avoid direct skin contact).
2. Carefully break open the glass ampoule (do not use force).
3. Add the sample to the ampoule, close it with the cap and shake well.
4. Watch the colour change and compare its intensity with the colour chart supplied: a more intense colour indicates higher purity.

Always use only a small sample. Dispose of the ampoule and sample safely after use, and store unused tests in a cool, dry place.
