Sour Ripper by Ripper Seeds

Sour Ripper sits clearly on the Sour Diesel side at Ripper Seeds. The variety brings a sativa leaning structure with long internodal spacing, little leaf mass and a more open plant frame that separates it clearly from the heavier Kush and Cookies lines of the bank.

The flowers stay more compact than one might expect from some older Sour Diesel lines. This gives the plant a useful counterpoint to its longer growth: more air in the frame, but still firm flower heads that do not fall too loose.

Indoors, Sour Ripper runs at around 65 to 70 days. That window fits the sativa leaning Diesel base and asks for a steady late flower phase so the dry Sour side and resinous finish can come through cleanly.

The growth should not be forced too tight too early. Sour Ripper works better when the long internodes are used, light reaches into the shoots and the plant is not treated like a compact indica.

The profile stays dry, sour, citrus led and close to Diesel. With Sour Ripper, the point is exactly that older Sour D direction: little foliage, longer stance, more compact flowers than expected and a straight Diesel character without a candy or dessert detour.
