Skunk #1 Regular is a three-way hybrid strain hailing back to the 1970s. It comprises Afghani, Mexican and Colombian genetics. One of the original breeding blocks from the early days right up to today – a real blast from the past. Skunk #1 Regular performs very well outdoors helped by its excellent resistance to both cooler climates as well as plant pathogens.

Skunk #1 is one of the original old school varieties that made its way from California to Europe in the early 1980s. A hardy and resilient hybrid, this strain is easy to grow, highly productive and takes only 56-60 days to complete flowering. Good carbon filters are needed when growing this strain indoors as its reputation for a powerful smell is justified.

Growers are advised to train this girl during vegetative growth as she can grow very big. Skunk #1 is a low maintenance strain making her the perfect plant for beginners as well as for commercial growers looking for big yields.

Plants grow to a height of 120 – 150 cm. with a stocky appearance. THC levels are 15% – 20%, making her effects well-balanced and perfectly suited for smokers with a lower tolerance. Yields of 400 – 500 g/m¬≤ can be obtained when grown in a Sea of Green. Plants have a strong smell, pungent, dank and reminiscent of a Skunk’s spray, so be careful when flowering indoors as well as when drying out. This hybrid produces very large-sized buds with a chunky appearance showing maroon-brown hairs and with a prolific resin profile meaning this cultivar is a good choice for extract makers. Skunk #1 is a fast-flowering strain that only needs 8 – 9 weeks of flowering before its ready to harvest.

The effect is powerful, long-lasting and mind-bending, mellowing out into a very nice relaxed physical state. Medical patients may find Skunk #1 helpful for improving concentration, energy levels and motivation, relieving feelings of nausea and sickness, stimulating appetite and lifting low moods.
