Skunk #1 Regular (reguläre Samen)

Beschreibung

Skunk #1 Regular from Barney’s Farm is one of those strains that has left its mark on the history of modern cannabis. With benchmark genetics, generous production, and an unmistakable organoleptic profile, this regular photoperiod seed represents a solid choice both for growers taking their first steps and for those looking to work with stable genetic material with its own character.

Classic genetics built on three legendary pillars

The cross that gives rise to this strain combines three first-class lineages: Afghan, Acapulco Gold, and Colombian Gold. The result is an indica-dominant hybrid plant (30% sativa) that inherits the structural solidity of Afghan and its productive potential. The stimulating mental nuances come from the Mexican and Colombian sativas.

With THC levels that can reach 26%, Barney’s Farm particularly emphasizes the superior vigor of its regular version compared to the feminized one, making it especially valuable material for growers interested in phenotype selection or genetic improvement programs.

Cultivation: robust structure and outstanding yields

Indoors, Skunk #1 Regular develops a compact stature of between 120 and 150 cm with strong lateral branches capable of supporting large, dense, and highly resinous buds. The flowering period ranges between 65 and 75 days, and the plant responds very well to training techniques such as SCROG or LST, optimizing light distribution and final yield. Under well-managed conditions, production can reach 500 g/m². Its ease of management makes it suitable for both novice growers and advanced profiles. Odor control is important in indoor cultivation—it’s a truly aromatic genetic.

Outdoors, the genetics unleash their full potential: the plant can easily exceed 180–200 cm in height and yield up to 800 g per plant in temperate climates. Harvest takes place in mid-October. In the final maturation phase, the buds develop an exceptionally dense coating of trichomes that gives them a characteristic silvery shine—a sign of the high resin content that distinguishes this strain.

Aromas, flavors, and effects: uncompromising classic

The aromatic profile is true to its heritage: a pronounced and penetrating skunk that blends with earthy notes, fresh citrus, and a gently sweet and musky background. On the palate, the experience maintains that same old-school line, with an earthy and sweet base as the central axis, accompanied by sharp citrus, resinous nuances, and a fungal touch that adds depth and complexity to the flavor.

The effect begins with an euphoric and creative cerebral onset that lifts the mood without generating anxiety. Over time, the body relaxation typical of the indica component gains prominence, enveloping the body in a progressive calm that doesn’t incapacitate. This balance between mental stimulation and physical sedation makes it a versatile strain, recommended for evening or nighttime use, both in moments of socializing and creativity and for rest at the end of the day.
