Control and dim SANlight EVO grow lights via TrolMaster controllers

The SANlight TrolMaster Adapter for EVO Series connects compatible SANlight grow lights to a TrolMaster control system. The AI0058 adapter cable carries the control signal from the controller to the light, allowing external dimming as part of a suitable 0–10V setup. It is particularly useful in automated lighting installations where light output needs to be managed centrally.

From the SANlight dimming port to RJ12

On the light side, the adapter uses a Wieland RST20i3 connector designed for the dimming port of the SANlight EVO Series. The controller end terminates in an RJ12 plug. With a cable length of approximately 2 m, there is enough reach for tidy routing between the grow light and the control equipment.

Suitable for single lights and larger installations

Each connected light requires its own adapter cable. Depending on the TrolMaster configuration, additional Y-splitters, lighting adapters or other components may also be required. According to SANlight’s current specifications, the AI0058 adapter is suitable for both the EVO Series and STIXX Series. The RJ12 connection is not waterproof and should therefore be installed in a dry, protected area.

Alternative SANlight control options

If you want to control an EVO fixture without an external TrolMaster system, the SANlight EVO Bluetooth Dimmer provides an app-based alternative. For GrowBase and GrowBase Pro installations, the SANlight GrowControl Adapter offers the appropriate connection.
