Elite Californian genetics: Face Off OG Bx2 x Animal Face Mints

Mint Candy is the result of an exclusive breeding project by Silent Seeds, developed through rigorous genetic selection based on regular seeds of Animal Bx1 and Face Mints, two lineages from SeedJunky Genetics, the renowned USA seed bank famous for varieties like Wedding Cake or Jealousy. The Silent Seeds team carefully selected a male from Animal Bx1 and a female from Face Mints, crossing them to obtain an elite clone of Animal Face Mints, subsequently combined with Face Off OG Bx2 from Archive Seeds.

This careful process culminates in limited edition genetics that stand out for their stability, vigor, and superior aromatic expression, faithfully reflecting the most acclaimed modern Kush lineage. Mint Candy condenses the best of the Californian scene into a collector’s seed designed for those seeking yield without compromising quality or complexity.

Growing Mint Candy: generous harvests

Mint Candy grows slender and well-branched, with large leaves and notable internode spacing, allowing excellent ventilation and light penetration. It requires control indoors due to its vigor (a maximum vegetative period of 3 weeks is recommended) and responds very well to techniques like staking or SCROG to maximize productive potential.

Flowering takes approximately 58 to 63 days, during which it forms dense, resinous buds on all secondary branches. In indoor cultivation, it can achieve yields of 550-600 g/m², while outdoors, grown in fertile soil with good sun exposure, it can reach up to 1200 g per plant, reaching heights of 2.3 to 2.5 meters.

Thanks to its open structure and genetic heritage, it’s ideal for dry, temperate climates, though it can also be successfully grown in greenhouses. At the end of flowering, it may develop beautiful purple hues that further enhance its visual appeal.

Aromas, flavors, and effects: a candy with Kush soul

Mint Candy offers a high-end organoleptic profile, perfect for lovers of Californian varieties with both sweet and earthy character. Its aroma is intense, complex, and refined, featuring sweet notes of gourmet cookie and fresh mint, over a deep background of citrus lemon, pine, and fuel-like Kush.

This variety doesn’t just shine in aroma; it’s also ideal for cannabis extractions, thanks to its high trichome production and terpene richness. Whether in a vaporizer or combustion, Mint Candy provides a flavorful, dense, and persistent experience that directly recalls the most iconic varieties of the West Coast.

With THC between 27 and 30%, Mint Candy offers an intense effect that begins in the mind with a wave of clarity and well-being, followed by profound physical relaxation. It’s ideal for afternoon or evening use, after the day’s obligations, as it invites rest, sensory pleasure, or simply enjoying the moment stress-free.
