Legendary Genetics: Hindu Kush, a pure landrace from the mountains

Hindu Kush is directly descended from landrace genetics from the mountainous region between Afghanistan and Pakistan. These wild plants have evolved naturally over centuries, adapting to extreme climates and developing unique characteristics that make it a pure indica of great botanical value.

This genetic line has been carefully selected by Barney’s Farm to preserve all its authenticity and purity, keeping its terpene profile and potency intact. Hindu Kush is a true cannabis heirloom that conveys all the strength of its wild origins, ideal for those looking for strains with intact genetic heritage and traditional effects.

Easy to grow and high yields: Hindu Kush, an ideal indica for hashing

Hindu Kush is an easy to grow plant, with a low and sturdy structure, typical of the purest indicas. Indoors it stays compact (80-120 cm), perfect for small spaces and SOG or SCROG techniques. Its fast flowering time (55-65 days) and generous yields (up to 600 g/m²) make it very attractive for growers of all levels.

Outdoors it can reach up to 2 meters in height and exceed 1000 g/plant if well cared for. Its buds are dense, very resinous and with a thick layer of trichomes that make them ideal for solvent-free hashish extractions. It also resists the cold well, developing purple hues in cool climates.

Traditional flavours and deep effects with Hindu Kush

The terpene profile of Hindu Kush by Barney’s Farm is an ode to traditional strains. The aroma is intense and penetrating, with classic Kush notes, accompanied by hints of fresh citrus, dank earth and exotic woods like sandalwood.

On the palate, the sweetness of the sandalwood and the earthy background add depth, while the citrus adds a bright and fresh touch to the whole

in terms of effects, it offers a strong physical buzz, ideal for relaxing the body and mind. Its action is deeply calming, perfect for unwinding, fighting insomnia or relieving pent-up stress after a long day.
