GrowControl Sensor für Heizmatten

Beschreibung

GrowControl Sensor for heating mats for precise temperature control

The GrowControl Sensor for heating mats measures the temperature directly in the relevant area and provides the reading to a compatible GrowBase controller. This enables you to use the controller’s heating mat function and regulate the temperature of a heating mat or another suitable heating device. During propagation and rooting, the separate temperature measurement is particularly useful for controlling heat independently of the general room temperature.

Fast temperature readings for heating mat control

The sensor measures temperatures from 5–40 °C with an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C. Its measuring interval is one second, providing the connected controller with regularly updated temperature readings. The permitted operating temperature of the sensor is 10–40 °C.

RJ45 connection and approximately 5 metres of cable

The sensor connects directly to a compatible GrowControl controller using its RJ45 plug. With approximately 5 m of cable, you have enough flexibility to position the measuring point in the propagation area or close to the heated surface while keeping the controller mounted further away.

Designed for compatible GrowBase controllers

The temperature sensor is intended for GrowBase controllers featuring the heating mat function. Compatible models include the GrowControl GrowBase, GrowControl GrowBase Lite and GrowControl GrowBase Pro. When used with the relevant controller function, the heating mat temperature can be set to a fixed value or, depending on the controller, relative to the ambient temperature.
