Cristal Limit (feminisierte Samen)

Beschreibung

Cristal Limit feminized is one of the classic genetics from K.C. Brains, the veteran Dutch seed bank. It’s an indica-dominant hybrid with a sweet aroma and slight hash undertones, very resinous buds, and a THC content that can reach 20%. Its effect is physical and relaxing, making it a perfect fit for growers seeking a resistant, compact, and productive plant capable of performing well both under lights and outdoors.

Genetics: Cristal x K.C. 606, an award-winning indica

Cristal Limit was born from the cross between Cristal and K.C. 606, two varieties from the house that K.C. Brains combined to obtain a stable hybrid with clear indica dominance. The result was recognized with first place at the 2002 High Life Cup, an endorsement that explains why it remains in the bank’s catalog more than two decades later.

Each parent contributes well-defined traits. From K.C. 606 it inherits ease of cultivation, swift flowering, and above all, its resistance to pests and fungi. From Cristal it receives the characteristic sweet aroma, abundant trichome production, and much of its potency. The combination produces short, bushy plants with narrow light-green leaves and a typically indica structure that’s easy to manage in confined spaces.

In cultivation: resistant and generously productive

Indoors, Cristal Limit maintains a contained stature, with heights around 80-95 cm. Its compact structure makes it convenient for grow tents and cultivation rooms without much available height. Flowering typically completes in around 8-9 weeks, although the bank itself indicates a broader range of 6 to 11 weeks, depending on phenotype and growing conditions.

Indoor production data varies depending on the source consulted, but under proper conditions it’s reasonable to expect around 400-500 g/m². This represents a solid harvest for an indica of this size, with large, dense, and very sticky buds.

Outdoors the plant gains presence and can reach between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height. Harvest arrives from late September onwards and can extend through October, with yields of up to 750-800 g per plant under good conditions. It also works well in greenhouse cultivation.

One of its strong points is reliability. Its tolerance to mold and pest attacks allows it to perform in less controlled conditions, making it a comfortable option for beginners and a safe bet for experienced growers looking for a trouble-free indica.

Flavor and effect: sweet, hashy, and relaxing

During flowering, the buds emit a sweet aroma with hash nuances, a classic profile reminiscent of traditional-style indicas. Upon maturation, the flowers are covered in long, shiny trichomes, and that resin shows in the sticky feel of the harvest and in the intensity of the aromatic profile.

The effect corresponds to its indica dominance: a physical and pleasant sensation that invites calm and disconnection. It’s a variety more oriented toward moments of rest and the late hours of the day than situations requiring activity, with a relaxing effect that settles in progressively. All of this backed by a THC content that can reach 20%.
