Cob Salad by Humboldt Seed Company

Cob Salad is one of the stranger names in the Humboldt Seed Company range, but the old Los Angeles haze story is not the strongest part. The better read is mint, OG Kush and Haze in one California collaboration with Circle of Bosses, giving the line its own place outside regular dessert language.

The parent line is Mountaintop Mint Number 1 x OG Kush x Haze. Mountaintop Mint sets the cool green top note, OG Kush brings the drier base, and Haze adds height, citrus and sharper tension through the frame. That keeps Cob Salad hybrid, but with enough edge to avoid reading like another loose Kush Haze cross.

HSC lists COB Salad with 55 to 60 days of flowering, documented mold resistance and an outdoor window extending to approximately mid-October. The current product page does not state a specific F or S generation, so such a designation should only be added when it is clearly shown on the available seed pack.

The plant is described with dense purple buds and deep green, heavily serrated leaves. Mold resistance matters here because the line combines firm flower mass with a mid October field window. In that kind of slot, structure, air and surface quality matter more than a simple yield phrase.

The nose moves through mint, earth and bright citrus notes, with OG dryness under the fresh Haze edge. For Cannoptikum, Cob Salad lands as a cool green Humboldt hybrid with Los Angeles collaboration background, F3 S2 depth, purple flower mass and a Mint Kush Haze profile that feels much more specific than the name suggests.
